1995 - Dr. Butros graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI

1998 - Completed a pediatric residency at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center

2001 - Completed her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY 

2002 -  Completed Special Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center  

2002-2004 - Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at Columbia University in New York, NY specializing in neuro-oncology and complicated blood disorders 

2004-2015 - Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at University of New Mexico,  Department of Pediatrics, Albuquerque, NM 

2016-Board Member and Grants Committee Co-Chair for Camp Enchantment New Mexico, a non-profit and free camp for childhood cancer survivors ages 


2016 - Founder of a novel outpatient community pediatric hematology/oncology program in Albuquerque, NM (Sandia Survivors Program)

2018-Joined the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Team at Presbyterian Medical Group (when she is not at Sandia Survivors, i.e. not affiliated with Sandia Survivors Program)
